Dear Malfoy,
Hi. This is probably weird and unexpected, to hear from me, but here we are.
I'm sorry for Hogwarts. We said a lot of awful things to each other and I've just been thinking about it a lot. My therapist encouraged me to reach out — she said I deserve closure. I've grown enough in the ten years since we met to be able to authentically hope that you are doing well.
I'm also sorry that I didn't give you your wand back in person after the trial. I reckon that's a weird thing to be sorry for, but it's weighed on me for three years. I never got to thank you directly for saving my life. Without you and your mum, Voldemort would have won. So I'm saying it now, even if it's late. Thank you, Malfoy.
P.S. I heard through the grapevine that you moved to Italy. I'm jealous. London is as dreary as ever.
Best, Harry (Potter)
OR: Draco moves to Italy after the War. Harry's therapist encourages him to reach out to Draco. Cliché romcom ensues.

Harry has his doubts. Draco is determined to make a very compelling argument.
Fortunately, Draco has several advantages at his disposal: seven years of obsessive attention, an unreasonable amount of confidence, some very persuasive promises, and intimate knowledge of exactly what makes Harry Potter blush.
He intends to use all of them.
All right. Let me seduce you properly now.

Summary
Set several months before the tuna melt:
The officer points at his entryway. “We noticed a doorbell camera when we entered. Is there a way we can take a look at that footage?”
Ilya frowns. The footage would easily prove that he spent the night at home, but it would also prove that he wasn’t alone. And if these cops know Ilya Rozanov, then they definitely know Shane Hollander.
“I’d like to know what this is about.”
“Shane Hollander was attacked outside of his hotel early this morning. The medical staff report he was saying your name."

Summary
Two years after Shane Hollander ended whatever they had, Ilya is still waiting for him to come back.
So he fills the silence with vodka, strangers, hotel rooms, and a phone kept loud enough to wake him in the middle of the night.
Just in case Shane calls.
He never does.
Or
Shane, why won't you ever be the first one to break?
Even my phone misses your call, by the way.Bookmarked by Timer18

Summary
When Ilya's phone buzzed the second time in a row, Jane lighting up his home screen, Ilya got annoyed. He turned it off and shoved it back into his pocket. Whatever Hollander wanted, he could bring it up to Ilya after he'd gotten laid. Really, Ilya failed to see how it was necessary for them to talk at all. They'd only ever spoken about one thing, and Hollander was getting plenty of it from Rose Landry.
A few weeks after Shane Hollander begins his relationship with Rose Landry, the Montreal Voyageurs' plane nearly falls out of the sky on its way from Raleigh to Ottawa. Shane, believing he's going to die, leaves a three-minute voicemail on Ilya Rozanov's phone. The plane doesn't crash, but Shane suffers a severe concussion. When he wakes, he can't remember anything about that day—the game he'd played that afternoon, the terrifying incident on the plane that evening, or the declaration of love he'd left in Ilya's inbox.
Which is unfortunate, seeing as Ilya drove five hours just to see him.
