There are more secure facilities-- plenty of them. Moscow, Leningrad, hell most municipal buildings in the Soviet Union have a better baseline of security than this. But instead they're here. Someplace so small and out of the way that the only remarkable thing about it is that it's barely a hundred miles from where Owen died.

Something about the machine was magnetic, drawing all their focus towards it like a black hole capturing light. It wasn’t much more interesting than the other games in the arcade – in fact the design was fairly simple – but it was attention-grabbing, enticing. The overwhelming lights and sounds of the arcade seemed to fade away, muffled like they were underwater. But Ziria stayed bright and loud as before, becoming by contrast the only interesting thing in this arcade.
