That was a fact, of course, until the team had been out for drinks and dancing, and Kiyoomi had pressed up against him in the dim light of the club, and Atsumu felt so small and surrounded, and instead of turning around with a snarky grin and a raised eyebrow, he’d whined.

After having a consistent hookup buddy every other day for the past week, it was weird for Atsumu to be home alone in his apartment on New Year’s Eve, sitting on his couch eating a bowl of cereal in his boxers and wondering if he should even stay bother staying up until midnight. What was the fucking point when this year had been such a shitshow? Next year was just as likely to suck.
Just as he did every fucking day, he found himself thinking about Kiyoomi. Kiyoomi, the tall, dark, handsome shadow that Atsumu swore he kept seeing out of the corner of his eye. But whenever he turned his head the image disappeared and he was once again left with the realization that he was alone, completely and desperately alone.

Summary
Osamu has no idea what Motoya's got planned for the slideshow presentation he's setting up, but he doesn't really care. He'll listen to Motoya chatter as long as he wants to, content to just be there with him and Rintarou.
But the farther Motoya goes into the presentation, the more confusing things get, until Osamu realizes that somewhere along the way something has gone very, very wrong.
