After having a consistent hookup buddy every other day for the past week, it was weird for Atsumu to be home alone in his apartment on New Year’s Eve, sitting on his couch eating a bowl of cereal in his boxers and wondering if he should even stay bother staying up until midnight. What was the fucking point when this year had been such a shitshow? Next year was just as likely to suck.
Just as he did every fucking day, he found himself thinking about Kiyoomi. Kiyoomi, the tall, dark, handsome shadow that Atsumu swore he kept seeing out of the corner of his eye. But whenever he turned his head the image disappeared and he was once again left with the realization that he was alone, completely and desperately alone.

Atsumu finally turned his attention to Sakusa. “And for you.” The blond’s words were softer, breathier, just for Kiyoomi, and he reached up, grabbing the dessert. Instead of serving it on a plate, he took it and began to pack it up in a fancy little box. “A little surprise.” His smile was cheeky as he looked up from beneath his lashes.
So flirty, so fucking cute.“A surprise?” Sakusa couldn’t help but lean closer, enjoying the way Atsumu’s eyes dilated just a hint at his proximity.
“I think you’ll enjoy it.” Atsumu affirmed with all the confidence in the world as he tied a white ribbon around the box, finishing it off with a perfect bow. “I don’t take you for a real dessert type of guy.” His amber gaze flickered from Sakusa’s face, down his body, and then back up. “But I’m sure this will be very pleasing to ya.”

“No—” Atsumu’s word came out strangled, and he cleared his throat before speaking again. “No, Omi, I don’t.”
“Of course you don’t…” Kiyoomi sounded disappointed, and it made Atsumu want to scream. “It’s because of how you were acting last week.” Atsumu’s mind flashes back to seven days ago. The photoshoot. The handcuffs. He gulps, clarity dawning on him. “Don’t act surprised. You and I both know you’re beautiful, but to flaunt it around right in front of me when you’re supposed to be getting your picture taken for our little marketing scheme?” Atsumu flushes at the compliment. “Either you’ve just been so pent up recently that you couldn’t even keep your composure for a few hours, or you wanted to be a tease. Which is it?”.
Or the one where a promotional photoshoot gives Atsumu the perfect opportunity to tease his boyfriend and gives Kiyoomi the perfect chance to come up with a wonderful revenge plot.
