Earth barely managed to avoid its own annihilation thanks to the last second assistance of new alien visitors. Slowly, civilizations that had been nearly destroyed through nuclear warfare, famine, and disease are rebuilt with the Autobots' help.
But the Autobots' assistance isn't entirely altruistic. Earth has something they want. Because mixed with the millions of others are humans with spark signatures and the potential to become sparklings. Summary
In the early 21st century, Viola Valentine dies.
Five hundred years later, her ghost is present for the Affini Domestication of earth, and she's ready to resign herself to a life of not even being able to watch over the banal day to day of her fellow humans as this new species conquers her home. Even when one of these new aliens shows up at her home eager to help her out - and can even hear her speak - she's determined to have as little to do with this nonsense as possible.
Unfortunately for her, Circium Vulgare doesn't take no for an answer - and she's eager to be the first Affini with a ghost floret, even if it means founding an entire field of research herself.
