    Sam was not on board with that idea. Absolutely not. They weren't here to exploit this new world. They weren't going to mess with the story just because they could. And she wasn't grinning right back at him.

    Of course not.

    They were here to make things better. They were here with the foreknowledge of what would happen so they could help people. She wasn't thinking about how much chaos they could create, or how someone like Jim being Harry Potter was going to destroy the entire plot. And she definitely wasn't thinking about the damage they could do to just about everything with magic at their disposal.

    She wasn't.

    "You're right," Sam leaned across the table so they were inches apart as she whispered, "Let's fuck shit up."

    The students of Gotham Academy were confused. It was International Friendship Week, and it was Gotham’s turn to host. Except no one wanted Gotham to host, not even Gotham! So the Directors of the Friendship Conference decided that it was in everybody’s best interest to skip the City of Crime and go straight to the City of Lights. Everyone thought that it was the perfect idea! Except for Paris. The Gothamites couldn’t help but laugh and scoff at the Parisians insistence that Gotham would be a much safer place than Paris, and nothing should change. And everyone, even one Damian Wayne, was thrilled when the petition went through, and they boarded the plane for Paris.
    And then…a giant baby…tried to eat the Eiffel Tower…they should have stayed in Gotham.

    Despite the fact that many things had changed in her class, Marinette was content-she wasn't happy, but she was not sad or negative towards what had happened between some of her classmates and herself.

    During a cut short trip to Gotham, Marinette finds that she might have satisfied Lila, but she still won't stop till Marinette is not a threat against her.

    -as proved by the monstrous realization that Marinette is left to face alone. She was left behind in Gotham-without anyone.

    Mysteries start to unravel in this crime-ridden city, but so does troubles with both Hero and civilian life.

    Marinette ultimately needs help-whether she accepts this or not.

    -and some bro's are just the right people to help.

    After defeating Hawkmoth, Marinette needs a break. She makes the decision to leave Paris, away from the trauma that she has suffered, and to protect the miraculous. Applying for an exchange program, she moves to Gotham and begins the process of healing from broken trust and relationships. She makes the decision to keep up with hero work, unable to completely rid herself of what she had been for so long. Just as she finally begins to feel at peace, the vigilantes of Gotham find out about her, and her class begins to show up. After running from her past and finding a new place for herself, will Marinette have to fight to keep the peace that she's found?

    Damien Wayne never understood how lonely he felt, until Marinette walks into his life. He is still fighting the Demons of his past, and in an overly boisterous and emotion filled family he's always felt out of place. Now both she and Luka have given him a sense of home. When danger strikes, and the past starts rearing his ugly head, he will do anything to keep what he's found.

    *This is both a Marinette and Damien Healing story. Lots of fluff, smut, and love for the characters ensue. Polyamory acceptance, new friendships, and some angst thrown in.*
