Summary
Kim happens to wander into the compound kitchens when Chay is there cooking late at night.
A wonky ketchup smiley face stares up at Kim.
Kim stares back down at it, the line of his mouth unreadable. “You made me this the time I stayed over at your place,” he says, tone neutral. Carefully so.
“Did I?” Chay asks, aiming for casually unaffected. Then he sighs; turns to the sink to start cleaning the pan. He turns on the faucet, letting the water run hot. “Just. Be good and eat it.”
Kim makes a muffled little noise, and Chay turns back to him, blinking. Kim has his lower lip cutely caught between his teeth, and there is something adorable about the roundness of his eyes as he looks up at Chay.

Peter couldn’t help but start crying at the idea that he made his dad upset. His dad was his best friend, Tony was never mean or short with him. Tony was always loving and caring and gentle and sweet and patient, always treating Peter like he was an adult and not just an ignorant child. And for Peter to make the man upset, what if Tony wouldn’t forgive him? Peter knew he was being irrational, but the younger Stark couldn’t help but think of that.
