Summary
Carefully, Shiro made his way through the underbrush, flicking his light about to see where he was stepping. The eyes blinked at him in odd intervals, but it was enough to show him which direction he needed to go. After tripping over four large roots, Shiro came across a clearing.
A clearing with a single mulberry bush.
He approached it slowly, flashlight trained on the bush. The eyes were blinking rapidly, now, and a high pitched squeal pierced the air.

“Lance!” He hissed, eyes flicking back to the top of the page where the words were repeated. “This says it’s a honeymoon suite!”
“How did I know you were gonna say something about that,” Lance mumbled under his breath. “Listen, it’s just the name of the room, we don’t actually have to be on a honeymoon to rent it, and besides, it was the only one they had left, ok? We have been through so much worse, I know you can handle one night sharing a bed with me.”
“Fine,” Keith begrudgingly agreed. Sleeping in the same bed as Lance certainly wouldn’t do anything for the massive crush he’d been harboring on his teammate, but it wasn’t like they’d never slept in the same bed before. This entire mission they’d been packed together like sardines, first in the ship and then on Etunae, so what was a little more?

“What the hell, man?” Keith whirled on him as soon as he let go of his arm, a spark of disproportionate rage flaring through his chest, but Lance wasn’t even looking at him, his bag shifted over his shoulder as he dug around in the pockets.
He opened his mouth to demand Lance tell him what the fuck was going on when he met Keith’s gaze and beat him to it.
“You’re bleeding,” Lance said simply as he pulled a pad out of his bag and held it out towards him.
Keith’s teeth clacked shut, the words dying on his tongue as his stomach plummeted straight through the floor and he felt all the blood drain out of his face before it came surging back, hot, hot, hot as he was overcome with pure, unadulterated mortification.
Or: Keith gets his period. Lance is there to help.
