Summary
After the whirlwind of events of 2077 that culminated in the one man attack on Arasaka Tower, much of the city remained unchanged. The name of V was etched into minds of every solo in the city as the Death of Adam Smasher echoed throughout the city. Corporations vying for power as faith in 'Saka fell as their grip loosened. But underneath the surface many things were brewing as the attack stoked the fires deep within the city.
The stage is set with old and new players at the wings.
A new plot begins to unravel as a motley crew of Edgerunners from places far and wide make their debut in Night City.

Edited the first chapter to make it more loving and cohesive with the rest of the recurring themes. :)

Lucy, David, and Rebecca are forced to debate what is real and what isn’t. Can they free each other?

Summary
David and Lucy had great hopes and dreams for themselves and for each other, including the promise to go to the Moon together. Night City had other plans, though. We all know how it goes.
Nonetheless, sometimes life gives us a second chance. David survives the final fight, but it will take a miracle for him to recover after being so far gone.
A fix-it which still follows the story of the Edgerunners anime almost to the letter, but gives our characters a second chance at life.
Same universe / continuity as Nightcall, but separated out for those who don’t want to deal with Cyperpunk 2077s bits and mostly focus on David, Lucy and the crew.- Words:
