Summary
David and Lucy had great hopes and dreams for themselves and for each other, including the promise to go to the Moon together. Night City had other plans, though. We all know how it goes.
Nonetheless, sometimes life gives us a second chance. David survives the final fight, but it will take a miracle for him to recover after being so far gone.
A fix-it which still follows the story of the Edgerunners anime almost to the letter, but gives our characters a second chance at life.
Same universe / continuity as Nightcall, but separated out for those who don’t want to deal with Cyperpunk 2077s bits and mostly focus on David, Lucy and the crew.- Words:

Summary
In 2076 a group of Edgerunners helped a cyberpsycho cause havoc across the city. 2 of these runners got away, names and locations unknown. One runner, Rebecca no surname, was killed by Adam Smasher, and so was the cyberpsycho, now known as the notorious Edgerunner, David Martinez. However both bodies were taken by Arasaka personnel. Reason given, that this was an Arasaka matter as the cyberpsycho was using a hyper advanced Arasaka implant so no investigation was made by the NCPD.
However in some circles, the idea has been posited that the bodies were taken to be apart of Arasaka's "Secure your Soul" project. These ideas are mostly dismissed as conspiracies.
Though another runner, who was in Atlanta at the time of the previous incident, would make an interesting discovery while on a doomed heist. And after a run in with a bullet, her new life will be so much more interesting with the ghosts of the past in it.

The death of his mother thanks to that damn firefight and that bougie-ass surgeon who he should've put iron through, the bastard Tanaka who deserved getting his teeth caved in, the near death of Maine and Dorio after that botched job that left the two practically comatosed.
Lady luck wasn't favoring him at all. Eddies were running low, Lucy wasn't answering his calls, and now? He was under a hailstorm of white-hot lead all because he decided to bite the bullet and go solo to try and make ends meet. Fan. Fucking. Tastic.

Summary
V's six months are up. He bets it all on one final gig: a data heist at the Crystal Palace. The gig promises V much more than riches and glory, but the journey could very well turn into a one way ticket to oblivion.
David has been captured by Arasaka in their attempt to create a new enforcer, even more deadly than Adam Smasher. Psychoed-out and brainwashed, he longs for the memory of the one person keeping him sane.
Having sworn off Merc work for over a year, Lucy settles into an unassuming life on the Moon. But when her path crosses with V's to reveal David might still be alive, she emerges from hiding to enact vengeance on the ones who stole her dreams away.
The deadly conflict to save themselves and their loved ones will take Lucy and V from the Earth to the Moon and drag them to the very edge of humanity. Luckily, it's unlike legends to just lay down and die.
Formerly Dreams Like Clockwork. Direct continuation of Edgerunners and Cyberpunk 2077.

Summary
An alternate ending to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
Major Spoilers ahead!
David Martinez did not die in his final confrontation against Adam Smasher. In a hot headed move, Lucy and Falco returned for him after Smasher left and got him the treatment he needed. Now, living a new life with Lucy, in a new city, the two must struggled against the lingering effects of Cyberpsychosis, all while living in hiding with all new identities.
The first chapter deals with the events directly after Lucy and Falco fled from the Smasher battle. The second chapter marks the beginning of David and Lucy's new life away from Night City.
The story will mostly deal with David's struggle against cyberpsychosis in a lore friendly way. To those that don't know, cyberpsychosis is actually a treatable mental disorder, but neither the anime or game go into much detail about this.Bookmarked by ULT_13
