For Ignis, a worth outside of duty. The allowance of a life outside of Noct. Something for him just because he wants it, not because someone thrust it upon him.
For Prompto, unconditionality. Honesty. Warmth. A keen eye to see through his layers and masks. The ability to feel all the things he’s sworn off in himself. The assurance that he deserves love, not because he’s earned it by suffering enough, but because he’s always deserved it.

They get paired up together for a project in their college English class and when Karkat accidently learns that Dave is fighting to keep custody of his younger brother Dirk, he learns that he may have been completely wrong about Dave and shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. A story of two damaged boys coming to each others rescue and growing as people. <3

Mostly because he’s pretending it was an accident, mostly because he’s only pretending because he’s in front of a crowd, mostly because you know he’s not sorry. That’s okay. Nothing would change even if you didn’t hate him with a passion. The fake apologies, the harshly spat words, the bruises and scars and everything he did...they all still linger with you even when he's long gone. You can't shove the thought of him out of your mind.
