He put his head in his arms on the ground in front of him and cried. All he could think was that he should’ve been here sooner. What if he had just outrun Kacchan today? What if he left right as the bell rang? Maybe he could have gotten her out before the fire or even gone up in flames with her.
After having the world turn its back on him for being quirkless and tragically losing his mother. Who could blame him for getting a bit of a thrill out of fighting back and almost dying sacrificing himself in a way? Who could also blame him for getting a thrill out of killing those who deserved it?
Izuku Midoriya takes to the streets to fight off crime because it gives him a thrill fighting someone stronger than him with the possibility of dying. But after snapping trying to take down the slime villain, he finds a new thrill in killing and being one of the most well known villains.

Summary
Ancient Melody: An old druidic slang term referring to the Call to Destiny. All people will experience this calling at some point in their lives, with many druids describing this as sounding like an enchanting song. Those who try ignoring it will often find that they cannot do so for very long.
A travelling bard is a wonderful guise for a druid. They go wherever they wish, never staying in one place for long enough to be found out. However, like all druids, Wren has avoided Camelot like to plague for fear of being caught.
However, when she learns Merlin, her childhood best friend, is in Camelot after his own Call to Destiny, Wren decides it’s time to go too.
She’s been ignoring her destiny, her call for far too long out of fear. But now, she knows it’s time to listen. Time to follow that Ancient Melody to Camelot and see where it leads her.

What if Izuku had a corvid quirk, and the HPSC took interest?
Hawks had only one weakness; his little brother, Crow. And that's how the HPSC liked it. Threaten Hawks, and Crow would obey. Threaten Crow, and Hawks would obey. It was a flawless system, really, even when they decided to send Crow to UA to report back all the secrets Nezu was trying to hide.
Izuku has to learn how to be a normal teenager, all while reporting back to the HPSC about people who consider him a friend. He can handle this, right? He's taken worse missions before.
So why does this one make him feel so guilty?
