This seemed to snap him out of his thought process, the mage took a deep breath before pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose as a wordless apology. “Please tell me you didn’t seriously think I wasn’t going to come back for you.”

Turns out, he was right. Turntapp can finally make out what turned out to be a tower of some sort. The torches planted in its walls certainly helped make it stand out against everything else. Looking at the distance between him and the structure, he’s maybe a good fifty blocks or so away.
