Maybe it’s fucked up to admit that he thinks he likes Gerard best when he's like this. Far away from the grandstanding and the confidence and aggression, the teasing little smirk and the pouted lips that he’ll share with just about anyone who gives him some attention.
Sometimes Gerard’s presence is so large, so all consuming that it almost feels untouchable, or like Frank is shrunk beneath the burning heat of it. But when Gerard is like this, soft and small and looking at Frank like he has all the answers for once…
It makes Frank feel like he has some of that same largeness within himself.

His eyes bounced off Frank in a way that felt familiar yet far off, reminding him of times passed. Passing Gerard a beer in Pencey Prep’s van before he went on for his first show; the crazed look in his eye as he stared down My Chem’s first “big” crowd; their first time playing somewhere nobody spoke their language, a thousand leagues from New Jersey.
Now they were here, and Frank knew there was more to it than just the post-show jitters. What do you need? he almost asked, but the words never made it to his mouth.
Instead he said, “Come here,” and was surprised when Gerard obeyed without a word, like it was the natural thing to do.

If Mikey had wanted to threaten him – If he’d really wanted to give Frank the full ‘shovel talk’ experience, he should've taken him to a forest or an abandoned warehouse, not a fucking bar. He took a sip, then said, “For what it's worth, I feel really scared right now.”
Mikey fixed him with a look of amused contempt. “You're an asshole.”

Frank Iero has a thing for giving blood.
Part of it is because he's broke as shit and can barely afford to eat, so the blood drive is one of the best surefire ways he can get a snack and a drink without sacrificing his pride. Part of it is how dizzy he gets after the fact. But most of it is because he likes the idea of some hot vampire drinking his donated blood and thinking it tastes good.
When his best friend, Mikey, realizes this, he decides to hook Frank up with a job as his older brother's live-in bloodbag.
Frank and Gerard hit it off better than either of them expected.

Frank’s unmoving demeanor allowed for a shallow pool of vexation to grow abysmal. He wanted to tear into him; possess him completely until the thought of hunger was nothing but a distant memory. Instead, he opted for sitting up, digging their nails into the palms of their hands. He was going to stay grounded.
“I’m not fucking kidding you. What do you want? Come on. If you don’t tell me, we’re going to stop.”

Frank needs a place to stay after his previous place didn't quite work out for him. Gerard and Mikey are looking for a roommate in return to help with expenses. Needless to say they MIGHT have been on the verge of getting evicted. Brian suggest that Frank moves in with the Way brothers, and so he does without many questions. Frank instantly connects with Mikey and somewhat with Gerard, despite him seeing them both as two complete weirdos.
But something feels off.
Mikey acts strange whenever he talks about Gerard. Gerard seems to keep a barrier between him and Frank, only letting it down occasionally. To add on to the freakiness, sometimes the two brothers can even be heard talking and going in and out of the apartment all throughout the night. Who goes for a stroll at three in the morning?
The two are hiding something and honestly, Frank couldn't care less...at least until he does.
