He couldn’t hear Izuku's voice over the crowd, but could see soft pink lips mouthing the team’s stupid cheer.
He felt his knees go weak with adrenaline when Izuku sensed him watching and gave him a small wave, his expression exasperated, motioning,“Watch the ball Kacchan!”
Bringing his right hand up, Katsuki swiped his palm hard against his stupid smile to rub it off his face.
The nerd's watching me. I'm gonna outperform these freaking extras.

That sounds like the sappy, poetic shit Momo likes to read when he crashes at her place for weekend tea, but it's accurate. He doesn't remember all of his dreams, but the ones he does tend to have flashes of shimmering emeralds and deep jades, and he gets this bone-deep sense of familiarity and desire to go along with it.
It's not the entire reason he prefers doing landscapes and nature, but he'd be lying if he said it wasn't the biggest drive in choosing his preferred subject matter. The peace and tranquility of being outside and unbothered while working is really just a bonus.

“Hello all, I’ll be—oh,” the waiter freezes the second he sees them. He’s staring at Katsuki’s parents. Katsuki wants the man to turn suddenly, is aching for it for some reason. It’s the voice, the cadence. It tickles at Katsuki’s brain, brings back memories of cherry blossom spring, the feeling of clenched fists, the color green.
“Well, I’ll be damned,” Mitsuki croons and suddenly stands, getting all up in the waiter’s space, hugging him. Katsuki burns in sudden embarrassment. But her next words are like ice water down his back.
“Izuku Midoriya, in the flesh after all these years,” she says, and Katsuki’s world implodes on itself.

He’s none the wiser. It’s like he didn’t even realize he’d just shown Katsuki his laced panties.
“What are you wearing right now?” Katsuki beckons Izuku to stand closer like a disobedient child, pulling up on the hem of the new sweater to fully examine the never-before-seen naughty piece of fabric.
Izuku’s little bulge is covered by a thin layer of laced satin, only the front has pretty flowers decorating the soft lingerie.
