They are buffed to a shine, and presented an opportunity by Sentinel Prime himself to represent coggless miners everywhere. Giving inspirational speeches to their brethren to boost productivity. But catching a glimpse of the upper caste lifestyle of a cogged bot isn’t all that it's cracked up to be.
Or: Will a small butterfly effect like Chromia missing our two boys be enough to change the damning narrative of divorce?

Summary
When he inhaled, the Fortress exhaled for him.
Symbiosis was a peculiar thing. If he wanted to protect the people residing within these walls that were now a part of him, he would need to keep this hunger at bay, and his wits about him. Even now, Wriothesley could feel the fishhook-like tendrils in his brain twisting and pulling, yanking on him like a marionette, demanding he do their bidding.
If he slipped up, people would die. If he gave up, someone else would have to suffer. Wriothesley needed to turn this stalemate into a checkmate, but that begged the question how. How did one outmaneuver the thing that pumped his very blood, breathed his air and occupied every corner of his mind.

How to harvest the most agony? How best to twist the knife?
While immediately swapping all of them would be shocking and difficult for both sides, it wouldn’t bring the Specter the maximum yield. To swap those once connected would increase the amount of suffering, but it still wouldn’t be perfect. There was only one solution: make it random.
Force both sides into a paranoid spiral of wondering who was next, of when they would be tossed into a role they would hate, of what would become of the life they had slowly carved out.
Make the recently-turned Killers spend time with the people they’ve been slaughtering, only to see those same people take up the mantle of murderer. Allow those separated by roles reconnect, only to rip them apart again. Yes, this would do the trick.

The rounds have begun to grow dull, Killers and Survivors alike settling into their roles. The Specter seeks to change that.

In Spectre's hell is a not really special hacker known as 007n7, one of the most hated in the forsaken realm, however Spectre themselves has grown curious about an idea that has recently popped into their non-existent head.
What if they made the hacker himself loved by the others instead of hated? Of course, Spectre had to see how much chaos could be caused by this decision.
Or Spectre puts a virus on 007n7 and now EVERYONE loves him (Not the kids, their kids.) Also do note that this fanfic will be full of mischaracterizations as it's kind of the point of this trash.

The spectre has gotten bored. It has been years since everyone has been stuck in the cycle of constant death, and quite frankly, the survivors has gotten pretty used to it and become fairly numb. Therefore, it is now searching for new ways to cause chaos.
Or: Instead of the regular countdown that told them how long it was until their next fight for survival, it has now been replaced with a text displaying 'Truth or dare!'. The survivors all wait for what this new theme could mean.
