The last thing Peter sees is Tony's horrified, heartbroken expression leaning over him. The guilt in his eyes is almost worse than the burning pain that's taking Peter apart piece by piece. The world starts to go dark.
There's a flash of gold and green. For one moment, he finds himself standing amongst the Guardians and others. And then darkness again. It feels like blinking; an extended period of nothingness that ends as abruptly as it begins. One moment there’s nothing, the next there’s light.
“Easy,” a woman says. Her words are gentle, and carry a slight accent that he can’t place. "I'm called Wonder Woman. What's your name?"

He could end all of this just by inhancing and adding onto the other’s powers, but he stayed still and watched.

Tommy desperately leaned into it like the greedy bastard he is. “I should thank you for not being nuisance.” He praised to the boy. Tommy hummed pathetically. Orpheus laughed a melodic laugh. “Most people try to challenge Corvus. Or cry, or run. Or stay silent and face consequences.” Orpheus trailed on, wrapping a group of Tommy’s hairs around his finger delicately. “But no, you followed instructions and gave snarky comments. Just at the right time.” Orpheus moved his free hand to cup Tommy’s cheek.
“You were quite the show.”

He felt his feet leave the ground, gravity seemingly nonexistent as his stomach lurched again, frantically fighting the unforeseen force dragging him into the air. Even though he was only hovering a couple inches off the ground, maybe a foot at most, Wilbur was terrified.
All he could think about was the paralysing fear that was coursing through him, head pounding with added pressure as he was lifted higher and higher into the light.
Or, Wilbur is abducted by aliens to be their pet.
