Vi finally had a day off.
Though, it happened so rarely, that she barely even knew what to do with herself. She woke up early that day—a habit that, despite it being nearly five years since she had been in that prison, she had never quite been able to break—and spent a few minutes staring at her Cupcake, before climbing out of bed. With time on her hands, Vi did what she was usually only able to do on off days or holidays.
However, like always, Vi found that she couldn’t have a quiet moment to herself without something interrupting it.================
It's a week until Vi and Caitlyn's wedding, and presently, things are going well. With both cities in relative peace, and Warwick returning to the role that Vander once held, things might just go back to normal.
Might.
With Ekko's experimentation on volatile unstable technology, Viktor's descent into the ramifications of Singed's research, and Sevika's exploration into her personal life, the promise of a normal life is far from certain.
And the fear of the unknown is a valid fear to have, when forces beyond comprehension wait patiently in the background, begging to be set free.

All Vi wanted was a day off.
Just one day where she could slip off her gauntlets, put up her feet, and relax. Maybe she would let Caitlyn take her out to one of those fancy Piltover spas that he had always talked about. If it would make Caitlyn happy, she’d allow herself to get pampered, albeit begrudgingly.
But today, like always, was not a relaxing day.===============================
Vi and Caitlyn venture into the alleyways of the newly independent Zaun, with the hopes of finding a serial killer whose gruesome murders of three criminals in the last week sent a shockwave through the region, reaching both Piltover and Zaun's criminal underground. Fearing that her sister could be the next target, Vi enlists Jinx's help in finding the culprit.
Sevika, a few months after taking over the criminal syndicate after Silco's murder, faces her biggest test yet. When one of her own is savagely turned to shreds, Sevika sets off to prove her strength to the rest of Zaun's criminal underworld as she begins to battle the realization that Silco may have trusted her less than she initially thought.
All the while, a beast prowls, haunted by memories that aren't his own.

This wasn’t the man she knew.
Captain Carter tried to convince herself of that. This couldn’t be him. He died. He was dead, and he was gone, and this all had to be some sort of horrific nightmare.
Her logical mind immediately tried to write it off as some advanced technology. A facial projection, made specifically by Hydra to torture her. Maybe it was a neurotoxin.
When she saw him take a breath, she knew it wasn’t true. She couldn’t look away from him. The only thing in her vision was his face, now slightly obscured by scraggly, dirty blond hair that swayed in front of his eyes.
Those eyes.
She had looked into those eyes countless times.

"Zyla had been hard at work planning, arranging, and getting the event in order. As the date approached, Zyla felt overcome with a huge sense of excitement and happiness. There were only two weeks until her wedding, and she was so glad that it was finally happening. Tobias dragged it out, but finally agreed on a date. June 8th, 1981. Zyla wanted to write that date everywhere she could. She wondered if a person could be in love with a date. Every day she looked at the calendar, crossed off the previous day, and then counted how much longer she had to wait until the big day.
“Two weeks, Tobias!” Zyla exclaimed that morning as she turned to him with a huge grin on her face. Tobias smiled back at her. As soon as she looked away, the smile dropped from his face, and was replaced by an uneasy look."A wedding should usually be a happy occasion. In the case of Tobias Sullivan, it left him with nervous butterflies in his stomach for all the wrong reasons. With everyone else preparing for the special day, Tobias is left to prepare himself.

His attraction to Elven woman was immediate, but he was a bit rusty in regards to relationships, and he hadn't felt this way in a long time. Zyla wants to continue this new love, but it's 1978, and life couldn't get more strange. Tobias was unlike other guys that she had dated, and she liked that.Tobias knew he was different too. He was older, more cautious, and a bit unsure of his place in the world.
Along with that, Tobias was a werewolf.Things are about to get hairy.
