Summary
Jean Grey had thought she was alone. She had thought that no one was ever going to accept it or stand by her side... But then Peter Parker, aka, Spider-man did all of that and more, taking a bullet in the chest that was meant for her too.
He had promised that he'd be by her side. Jean finally found her tether, and she wasn't going to let go. No rain was ever going to wash away the Spider from her.

A Foreword by the Scholar Zuyen:
It has been a long upheld truth of our great nation that after the twin falls of the disgraced Fire Lord Ozai and Princess Azula, and their subsequent imprisonments, neither of the two ever regained contact with our well-respected Fire Lord Zuko. While Fire Lord Zuko ensured the humane holding conditions of his estranged father and sister immediately after his ascension to the throne, he reportedly never saw a need to continue communications with them. Before writing this book, my answer to such an obvious statement would have been, "Blasting flames—well of course he didn't!" Now, though, my answer would be quite different. But best leave that til later.
Fire Lord Zuko, when questioned about such matters, only ever gave one answer in response, saying: “A true leader has no need for snakes and scoundrels. Dragons are far superior.”
Given his far more professional reply, it is no wonder that he was the fire lord and I am a less-than-humble scholar.

His spider-senses prickles long before his mind catches up. It starts as a faint buzz at the base of his skull, easy enough to dismiss as leftover adrenaline from the fight.
His footsteps thunder through the quiet building, echoing off the concrete walls loud enough to wake every tenant. He doesn't care. Let them complain tomorrow.
He rounds the final corner to his apartment. Then stops so abruptly his shoes squeal against the floor.
Jean Grey is slumped against the hallway wall only a few feet from his apartment door.
One arm braces her upright, fingers dragging bloody streaks through the faded paint every time her body threatens to collapse. Her head hangs low, fiery red hair plastered across her face in damp strands. A growing pool of blood has collected beneath her boots, slowly creeping across the floor.

Jean and MJ end up being best friends.
Peter is at turns annoyed and overjoyed by this in equal measure, but now, standing in the kitchen watching them take verbal swipes at each other, he's mostly just confused.-
"Didn't you ever wonder, Peter?" MJ says, and Jean's face goes pale. "Why Ned's memories came back right away and mine didn't? She could have gave them back weeks ago. But she didn't." MJ looks at Jean and Peter knows she has made the decision to be cruel. "Do you want to tell him, or should I? About how you kept my memories because you're in love with him, and couldn't stand watching him choose me?"

The one where Jean's in love with Peter, and keeps MJ in the dark a little longer than she has to, because she doesn't want to watch them get together again.

After being told how beautiful and special she is and how she is never alone in this world, that she will always have a certain pitiful-looking, messy-haired Peter Parker to turn to, Jean Grey watched as a bullet meant to kill her pierced that boy's back and left him a bleeding half-corpse in Frank Castle's arms. She followed them, to keep Peter alive, to deny the universe's next attempt at telling her she deserved nothing. But as she sat twelve floors below Spider-Man's fading mind, Jean realized no shallow telepathic trickery can stop his heart from hemorrhaging into oblivion. She needed to plunge deeper into his self... to the point they become one and his heart and blood trick themselves into thinking they beat and circle for her...
She told herself she's not invading his mind, just his everything else. She will not dig around for anything. Just here to keep her savior alive... Peter's memories brought themselves to her regardless. And this time she had no choice but to watch as they drift by... And some of them are very embarrassing as well.

In the Spring of 1998, Harry Potter is hit, for the final time, with the killing curse. He does not get back up.
He does not die, nor does he meet with any dead professors in imaginary train platforms. Instead, he wakes up in the Dursley's home, having received an acceptance letter from Hogwarts.
Thus, he comes under the assumption that he has returned to his first year at school, before he had faced Voldemort for the first time.
He is wrong.
The year is 1975, he is fifteen years old again, and his parents have just begun their fifth year of schooling.
Harry might be well and truly fucked.
