Summary
When he leaves Dawn Island, he has a red-orange mark on one arm, and an ash-gray mark on the other. Sabo’s color faded the day he died. Luffy misses it more than everything else he left behind put together—the treehouse, Makino’s bar, the funny gibbons he grew up with, everything. It’s strange that it’s been gray longer than it had a chance to be blue.

Summary
Kris was done. They weren't going to tolerate the interdimensional invader in their ribcage any longer. And if they had to open a fountain to get rid of it, they were going to.
Or at least, they were. Until that invader offered something new: the chance to remember between resets. To make their own decisions with nothing more than some minor advice and a helping hand if requested. Naturally, Kris was interested. And that's why they woke up on Thursday morning, remembering two days that technically hadn't happened yet.
Messing with the code can be delicate work. Do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and the bridge might just break. Or change fundamentally.
It's a good thing nothing like that could happen, right?
...Right?

Bookmarker's Notes
deltarune player (oc) and how giving the knowledge of resets to kris changes so many things
gets hella metaan absolute incredible read
i always loved seeing interpretations of how the deltarune player interacts with kris, it's one of my favorite tidbits within this fandom. while i'm not the biggest fan of oc's playing a major role in fanfiction, this was written in a way that kept my attention entirely (spent six consecutive days reading this to completion haha). seeing how kris and archie's relationship developed throughout the story was very fun! i'm glad it had a happy ending with archie being able to fulfill his dream of fantasy :]
