Just read it!
It's so lovely I don't know what to say. John and Sherlock are depicted very well, I especially like their vulnerability (that comes with Sherlock's return from the dead) and the great love they have for each other which is well portrayed through the POV the author used. But it's also funny and witty at places, so it's got everything. -

See, Clara is not only American (and wealthy to boot), she's also best friends with John’s ex-fiancee. Whom she's placed in the wedding party. As Maid of Honor.
And John just happens to be Best Man.

Sherlock Holmes had his first experience of sex when he was sixteen years old, with a girl who was the daughter of his father's buisiness partner, helped along with a stolen bottle of scotch and a rather ancient looking condom stolen from the wallet of an obnoxious party guest.
Somehow, eleven years and three months later, he's faced with ten year old John Watson.

He was such a serious child, but he was incredibly smart. He saw things most people would find inconsequential and pieced them together to form a whole picture as easy as breathing. John didn’t know anyone that could do anything like that. All the more reason why it was a crime what had been done to him. How could anyone hurt a child as helpless and as innocent as he?

I love this! The idea behind it that kid!Sherlock is adopted by adult!John is a really great one, that unfortunately is not done enough, in my opinion. Honey's execution of the concept is also excellent and full of emotions. We get to see our boys saving each other, John rescuses little Sherlock from an abusive guardian and Sherlock gives John the purpose back that was missing from his live since Afghanistan. They have both been through a lot but now they have each other (and friends) and are happy and cute :)
The bad news... it's still in progress so you have to be patient. -

When the dragons "came out" to the rest of the world, nobody expected the resulting War that broke out between Humans and Beasts. Both sides afraid and suspicious of each other, Humans drove Dragons into slavery, imprisoning them and turning their children into weapons for the military. Forced into hiding, many Dragons disguised themselves as Human and kept their secrets locked away, awaiting for the day when the royal blood line long since vanished would once again reappear and lay waste to the Humans that oppressed them.
John is a reluctant soldier in the Queen's Army, hoping to pay his medical school degree with three years of service. He's just been told to pick out a Dragon from the Kennels to train and serve beside in the War in Afghanistan. More than a little afraid and yet fascinated by the creatures, he just hopes he doesn't end up barbequed...
Sherlock Holmes can't remember his past, but one thing is for certain: He is never going to become some Human's pet. However John Watson doesn't exactly seem like the typical Human.
Can Dragon and Man really get along? Or even more, become friends?
