An AU based on the premise of the TV series "Midnight Diner":
Shinji Katsuragi (born Ikari) is now an ex-NEET employed at the late night diner his adoptive mother's boyfriend runs. His introversion and mild autism have always made it hard for him to easily make friends or understand people, but his new job provides him the opportunity to bear witness to the lives of some of Tokyo's more interesting residents and make some new friends.

Candace, Isabella, and Phineas join the Rebel Alliance and become entangled in the war, while Ferb is forced into his own journey by Darthenshmirtz's manipulations. Behind it are petty intrigues, war politics, people being people, and a truly dark plot unfolding deep in the shadows. Rated T for coarse language and violence.
Originally merely a continuation of the Phineas and Ferb/Star Wars crossover special, this has grown into something else over the years. Several other works, as distinct as Evangelion and My Immortal, have wound up part of the bizarre narrative that now exists.

Summary
