Summary
Alastor thought he could deal with his wound from Adam on his own. He'd kept it a secret from almost everyone at the hotel for weeks, refusing to admit it was killing him. When he finally gets to the point where he's no longer in control of himself, the only one who can save him is Lucifer.

Summary
After the battle against Adam, Alastor is wounded and hides from the other hotel residents. His constitution doesn’t go completely unnoticed however and Lucifer steps in just in time.

Alastor kept his back to the king, knowing full well how pale he looked.
“You do realize that’s not going to go away on its own, right? It will continue to eat away at you, depleting you more and more of your energy until you feel like you’re burning alive. I bet you already feel like that half the time, don’t you?” Lucifer continued on conversationally, as if he were talking about the weather. He poured himself a cup of coffee as well. “Hmmm…. Let’s see.” Lucifer said, taking a sip. And without further forewarning, he pushed himself between the counter and in front of Alastor, placing his hand right on his chest.
