Stiles paused, “That… actually sounds very interesting. I kinda wanna read it now. But my head feels like a warzone, and I definitely don’t have the energy to hold a book that heavy in my hands right now.”
He twisted and hoisted his legs up onto the couch when he had an idea.
“Maybe you could read it to me, Sourwolf? And who knows? Maybe hearing you say more than two sentences in a row might be enough to actually shock the sickness out of me?”

Red looked incredibly confused but spoke gently, having to force it out with Frank’s hand on his throat. “It’s okay. You’re safe. We’re at home. You just had a bad hit to the head last night. Just-”
Frank cut him off by adding more pressure with his hand and causing him to gasp. “What the fuck do you mean home? And we, what we? Where the fuck am I?”
Red didn’t speak for a moment, like he was trying to think of how to word it and understand what was happening. He croaked out the words, trying to bring in air in between syllables. “Frank…you and I live here. Have for like…three years.”

Matt and Frank have been together for a long time, and despite the occasional having to save the city from mass destruction, their lives are pretty good and happy. But after a mission gone south, Frank forgets it all and their for once stable lives are flipped upside down. Frank is lost and Matt is alone, angst ensues

Clint let out a laugh, one that echoed over the heads of the horde that was gathering below the roof that they were perched on top of. "We're gonna die."
The grin on Matt's face was borderline maniacal. "This is going to be fun."
____________________________________________In which it's the zombie apocalypse and by all logic, neither Clint Barton nor Matt Murdock should have survived this long: and that is not just because of their natural disadvantages. It would really help if the two of them would stop doing stupid things, like jumping off of buildings and taking on zombies bare-handed. Maybe once they meet up, it will cause them to learn a little bit of self preservation?

When what should have been a straight forward mission in Hell's Kitchen goes pear shaped due to lack of communication, teaching his teammates sign language seems like a logical step to Clint. Communication when their comms are down - great plan! And including the local vigilante, who's been working closely with them on this, is a real no-brainer.
Until it turns out said vigilante is an asshole that thinks sign language is beneath him, judging by the way he's stubbornly refusing to learn it.
(Conversely - Matt's trying, he really is but damn it, those two signs are exactly the same... what do you mean they mean completely different things?!)

Summary
Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson are both professors to Columbia Law students. It's well known among students that both are fantastic professors and brilliant lawyers. Students that have Professor Nelson are subjected to quite a bit of his life story and know that he's married, has two kids, and basically everything else anyone could want to know about him. Students that have Professor Murdock know a total of three things: his name is Matt Murdock, he's blind, and he's married. And they only know that last one because of the wedding band on his finger. It's not uncommon for students to have both Professors Nelson and Murdock over their time as law students, and usually students have them multiple times. It is, however, rare that students have both professors at the same time. A lucky group of six are in class with both this semester, one class right after the other. If they're lucky, these six may earn some new insight into both professors.

It’s all good though. Trust him. Clint’s got a plan, and absolutely nothing and nobody is going to stand in the way of it succeeding. All he has to do is kill one measly Avenger – and not even one of the superpowered ones! Should be a total breeze.
