Muy contrario de lo que se cree; Dream no apareció de la nada en el vacío, ni un Dios superior vino y lo dejo para vagar en los mundos; tampoco era un huérfano como Techno solía bromear. No, sus padres eran héroes del tipo más grande, héroes legendarios de tierras muy lejanas. Tierras donde se regían por el mismo Karma.
Él era el primogénito de una de las tantas parejas de héroes de esa tierra, Dream W. Doblas Díaz, un niño amado entre su familia y los mismos dioses.
Nacido de la grandeza para ser parte de ella, un chico que domaría las mareas y correría en libertad con el viento.
Él era Dream un semidiós, un administrador, un niño que se le sería otorgada la inmortalidad parcial al cumplir la mayoría de edad y se le sería retirada cuando él decidiera que su ciclo de vida ha sido bien aprovechada; para desaparecer y volverse uno con el universo mismo.
Era una estrella en ascenso, un regalo, un milagro. Tan pequeño, pero con un futuro próspero en las tierras de su familia… o eso se pensaba.

“Yes sir,” he muttered, mutinous, eyes blazing. And Chuck hadn’t had time to process this, hadn’t- he was going to have to drift with Raleigh. He was going to get to—have to—drift with Raleigh. Oh holy hell.
And Raleigh hated the idea. Of course he did, Chuck could hardly expect differently. He himself was pissed, actually, because he didn’t want Raleigh in his head. Chuck might, possibly, be in love with Raleigh Becket, but that didn’t mean he had to like him. And he didn’t. Raleigh was an entitled, self-absorbed ass. Chuck did not want to do this. But, he also didn’t have a choice. What else was new, huh?
