A muffled groan of mild irritation filters out instead, an uncomfortable feeling settling in his spark. If he went to Ratchet about it, the medic would tell him to get the hell out of his office, and that there were more pressing matters needing to be attended to.

It’s been a while since they’ve had a slow morning together, and comfort like this is rare.

Summary
Ratchet gets a decently nasty head cold and is banned from the medbay by First Aid and Drift promises to take good care of him. This includes: lighting healing incense, bringing only the best and most positive crystals he owns to Ratchet’s bedside, and making him an old remedy curing soup to eat. Ratchet cannot even with his Conjunx but he’s only gonna grumble about it a little and secretly take some cold medicine when Drift isn’t looking. It’s the thought that counts and it’s not like he’s in too much danger.
