Summary
Anger over the exile and lack of payment for Peter caused Yondu’s crew to consider mutiny. By the time Peter was ten, tensions were at a boiling point, finally spilling over just like the soup pot the mutineers planned to stick him in.
Yondu hadn’t felt so helpless in years, not since before his rescue. But with his arrow out of commission and his implant overheating there was little he could do to prevent his former crew from selling him back to the Kree.
Stakar was conflicted. On the one hand, it served Yondu right to have his crew turn on him after he had turned his back on the code. On the other, it was a little too ironic that the man whose action had saved him from slavery was going to condemn him to return through inaction.
An AU in which the mutiny happens much, much earlier and help comes from the most unlikely of places.

Yondu Udonta bottles up his feelings to the point he pretends he doesn't have them. That's fine and all; until he and his first mate start what can only be called a relationship. Being a former slave helps him with his (non)feelings exactly zero.
Lots of smut, lots of plot, and some tiny!Peter time. Early chapters are going to have some past-noncon references, later chapters are going to have some graphic moments that there will be extra warnings for.

Inspired by this line: "Now, Yondu's used to lice. Ain't nothing wrong with the odd bed-bug. He doesn't boast enough body hair to make 'em a pest (unlike Kraglin, who has to be de-flea'd yearly in livestock-dip, whether he consents to the dunking or otherwise)."
It occurred to me there had to be a reason for needing to flea-dip Kraglin as opposed to making him take a simple pill like what I give my dog.
This is the reason.
Or: Five times Yondu tried to make Kraglin take his flea meds and one time Yondu just said 'fuck it.'

Sick of surviving, he runs away with the Ravagers to find a future that will let him live. A mission into a Kree battle camp finds a slave so damaged he can't do anything for himself, not eat, speak, move. As an unwanted recruit, Kraglin is put in charge of the slave's care.
Kraglin doesn't know what he's doing with this broken person. He's barely more than a kid himself and Stakar is breathing down his neck, trying to make sure he does it right.
Or: The one in which Kraglin Obfonteri learns how to be a person while teaching Yondu Udonta what being a person means.
