Summary
”…..Visi, you may wanna move back a bit.”
Flambae suddenly comments casually, gaining a confused noise from the woman sitting beside him.
”He looks like he’s about five seconds from puking.”
”What the hell do you—-”
Needless to say, that sick feeling was not just his nerves spiraling as Robert collapses to the ground, throwing up whatever he’d managed to eat from his meal, and probably whatever was left from the drinks and the ramen cup from earlier today.
”Ew, what the hell Robert?! You clearly aren’t fine!”
Visi sounds a little panicked now and he could feel couple others check on him too, with Malevola offering him a napkin to wipe his face. Punch Up was crouched beside him - perhaps not necessary with how short he was but anyway - asking if he needed to go to a hospital or something.
”Bitch got a concussion, don’t need a doctor to spell out the obvious.”
-----------
The one where Robert feels too guilty over his fight with Flambae to admit he is Mecha Man, then things get complicated when he catches Feelings/Flambae starts to act as his totally-not-a-bf-caretaker. Robert POV first, then Chad for the final 2 flashing through the fic in his POV.- Language:

Summary
“Go home. Cry like a little bitch into your pillow. Then wake up in the morning and thank me.”
Robert laughs hollowly. “Thank you? For what?”
“For one less regret on your list,” Flambae answers.
At his lowest, Robert is given an opportunity to start fresh as The Phoenix Program's latest dispatcher only to jeopardise everything that very same night. From then on, he's playing with fire.

Summary
“I have… not seen many shemlen before now.”
He looks around at the three of them: the spymaster, poised and perceptive, the diplomat with her clipboard and coiffed smile, and the military leader, large frame paused in a warrior’s rest.
“Well, you’ve certainly gotten a decent amount of exposure by now.” Josephine’s smile meets her eyes sweetly. “What do you think?”
They are strange. Loud. Frank. Earnest. Saven eyes the warrior’s hulking mantle. “You are large.”

Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte didn't survive a year in the Ossuary and get saddled with an irritating demon, just to be put on a Venatori ship headed for an execution. There had to be a way out. There was always a way out.
This time, the way out came in the form of a wild, impulsive thunderstorm who called himself Rook. An out-of-control apostate from the Lords of Fortune, who had blown a cultist to bits with little more than a gesture right in front of Lucanis. During what was supposed to be his daring escape.
To close the impossible distance between himself and home, Lucanis decided to do the only thing he could do: team up with this Rivaini elf armed with more secrets than an Orlesian bard and a stare that made him weak in the knees.
How do you keep up with lightning?

Summary
Lucanis turned his head from Rook to look at the Venatori, but from behind him the Venatori’s claw-like hands kept Lucanis’ head in place, forcing him to watch. He leaned in, wine breath and metallic scent, making Lucanis’ gut lurch even more, as if the view wasn’t sickening enough. “Wonder how mangled he needs to be until you sing, Crow.”
(After Lucanis attempts (and fails) to kill Zara, he grapples with new-found betrayals, lost purposes, and feelings he can no longer ignore and refuse to acknowledge all the same. Rook, meanwhile, does what he does best: getting himself skewered by various blood magic attacks, doing dark necromantic rituals to prevent evil witches to come back to life, sneaking into a Venatori gala, and eventually finding himself smack dab in the heart and actual mind of certain assassin)
