Summary
It wasn't just the kids who found safe harbor in these walls. Eventually, others found their way in, seeking help, assistance. Others came naturally - a doctor who'd grown familiar with the unusual deal and ultimately found himself useful. Then there were the very walls they all called home. Living, Changing, its halls ever expanding as more children sought refuge. Some weren't permanent, while others soon grew to call the place home. Little by little, they found themselves bound together by something even stronger than a deal, or a promise. They became something like a family. Something special.

The 'Dee finally read MK 2021 and now finally feels comfortable violently tossing in these characters into her already canon mishmash AU' special. Short (ish) bits about some of the others living in the home.

Thea Kaplan became the avatar of the Greek Goddess Artemis at Fifteen and A Half Years Old as a result of her attempt to run from her past. She's no superhero, but she can handle the occasional monster here and there. She doesn't need anyone's help.
Now, at Sixteen, she finds herself with her hands tied, and no other choice but to ask for assistance from the avatar of the Egyptian Pantheon's equivalent.
Good thing they aren't in any way related to this Taxi Driver she vents to sometimes..right?

The Moon Boys meet a teenager who just so happens to be the avatar of another Moon God... add some good ol' trauma in there and cue accidental child acquisition. Layla's in here somewhere too.

Summary
Buck would be lying if he said he was amazing at taking care of himself. It wasn’t some big secret, either. Most of those he allowed to get close to him picked up on it relatively quickly. Eating had a tendency to sometimes be a problem, especially on days when he would get caught up in some project or internet rabbit hole or work.
To most, getting caught up in something and forgetting to eat wasn’t too terribly much of a problem. There probably wasn’t a person out there who hadn’t gotten busy and accidentally forgot to eat lunch at their normal time at least once. Given his line of work, it was to be expected.
But, to put it bluntly, he wasn’t exactly ‘most’.
