Summary
For as long as Gintoki had been a hybrid, he had never once considered himself lucky for being born this way.
All of his problems stemmed from a common source. Experiencing life in such an unfulfilling way— lacking any kind of control that desperately longed for— Gintoki couldn't help but feel a little down. Tossed around by an underground hybrid trafficking ring, Gintoki leads a bleak life, constantly being handed over for the highest price. That is, until the Shinsengumi raids the operation, and a certain mayo-loving bastard is assigned to watch over him.

“Eh well… we didn’t like each other,” Hijikata said bluntly as he drove and even though his nicotine levels had reached heights they never should have today, he lit another cigarette. It was an emergency. Yeah it really was an emergency because he almost swerved into the river when the Yorozuya suddenly leaned over to him from the passenger seat, so close that he could hear him breathe in for a millisecond.
“What the fuck are you doing!?”
“S-sorry I just, I think I remember that smell—”
“—Wha-what?!”
“I remember that smell… of… of you?”
OR
What if Gintoki lost his memories after an accident(just like those few Gintama episodes) but for some reason Hijikata is the only person he sort of remembers? Of course then it somehow falls on Hijikata to help him with all that even though he'd rather do just about anything else with his life

Summary
In a world where omegas aren't even classified as citizens due to their popularity as "pets" with the amanto upperclass, Gintoki thinks he's done pretty well for himself. He may not be raking in millions, and illegal black market suppressants might eat up most of his monthly salary, but the people he cared for were safe and he got to be with them, and that's what mattered.
That is, until a major government crackdown on black market suppressants leads to his dealer exposing his true nature in a plea bargain. Now on the run and forced to leave behind everyone he holds dear, Gin will be forced to make a choice. Summary
AU, fantasy. Hijikata, a vice-commander, gets ambushed by a group of bandits while traversing the mountains with his squad in search of an escaped convict. He survives the assault but is captured and taken to meet the bandits' charismatic chief. Said chief is a strange man with silver hair, a man Hijikata had only heard of from tall tales and myths. He didn't believe a word before, but now this legend incarnate is in front of his eyes, and he's very different from the stories. Selfish, not at all noble, and supercilious towards his captive. Plus, he clearly has no intention of letting Hijikata go!
