Summary
Percy was special, and possessed a powerful mind that could easily be corrupted. He was also lonely, overworked, and easily manipulated.
That, was why he was sent a goddess' favorite creations; to guide and protect him, carving the way to a future so great that not even the goddess could have predicted it. Percy escapes the miseries of his life by reading stories about fae realms and magic. It's what keeps him going.
But after Vax has to personally intervene to save Percy's life, they realise that the thing Percy needs most is not a guardian angel, but the presence of the gift sent to him.
Vax teaches Percy how to have fun, and that he's worth more than just his career. Deep down, Vax fears his presence in his human's life being the very thing that breaks him.
Vax isn't prepared for a world as dark as Percy's and his dark form - made to protect Percy - leads to dramatic events that change Percy's life forever... but also reveals his destiny, and it's a really freaking cool one!
