For one uncannily lucid moment, Trust questioned whether he was dreaming. It had to be a distinct possibility—this felt more like a dream than anything else.
No—he remembered getting up this morning, eating breakfast, resting, and then making his way to the plaza outside the Red Fox Theatre to rehearse. Even now, he distinctly identified the bodily sensations he was experiencing, and the way his limbs rejected his mental demands to slow their movements.
This was no dream.

As Quay contemplated, an unfamiliar voice rose above the whirring in the background. It was coming from behind him; someone was making their way down the hallway. Instinctively, he pressed himself against the nearest wall and hoped they would simply pass by without further incident.
It became evident when he looked to confirm the newcomers’ identity that this particular outcome was extremely unlikely.
Indeed—newcomers, plural, rather than newcomer, singular: a young woman dressed in red and white, surrounded by a gaggle of children, the oldest of whom was likely six or seven.
Quay blinked.
Then he blinked again.

Honkai: Star Rail short fic series featuring my OC/self-insert, Trust.
Trust is a foxian performer and martial artist employed at the Red Fox Theatre on the Xianzhou Yaoqing, though he originally hails from the Xianzhou Luofu. When not making a spectacle of himself, he is particularly devoted to spending time with Jiaoqiu and Moze.
Trust goes by he/they pronouns, so I might vary the set I use depending on the work.

Wuthering Waves short fic series featuring my OC/self-insert, Quay.
Quay is an assistant researcher with Huanglong's Marine Mammal Stranding and Response program, which collaborates with numerous regional group and agencies to study the ecological health of Huanglong's oceans, particularly since the onset of the Lament and the subsequent appearance of Tacet Discords and the field of ecoacoustics.
Oh yeah, and Quay goes by he/they pronouns, so sometimes I change which set I use depending on the work.

Also known as "Mortefi has a tail AU," because every day I mourn that aspect of his design from the closed beta version of the game. We were ROBBED. (Though I have to say I'm glad he discovered hairbrushes.)

Xiao sighs. “Aether—“
“Shh, Xiao,” Aether says, cradling his face. His fingers come up to sweep beneath Xiao’s eyes. They’re so gentle, they almost tickle, and Xiao melts into them, his eyes fluttering. “Just let me have this.”
Xiao cannot deny him anything.

The ever vigilant yaksha does not need to sleep. But sometimes, he desperately needs to, if only to rest freely for a time, and Aether is happy to assist him.
