“Well,” Looking down it would be quite a fall, Grian had done stunts like this before to get away from moments like these, but jumping off the roof? Perhaps only once or twice, and he didn’t consider himself the best to do so. “I could be better.”
“Take my hand then.” Scar offered it once again, his smile emitting comfort. There wasn't much time to think as the knights were right behind them. So Grian trusted blindly and took it without worrying too much about it.
Or: Grian, a thief who’s just trying to live in peace, encounters some issues after he tries to steal a cake. It all escalates from there, and the new guy he met is not helping.
