"The contract he was given explained how he would be locked in a room with another stranger, with only a table, two chairs, and a shotgun loaded with two bullets. How the two of them would decide who would emerge out of the room alive was completely up to the victims. Wilbur never had a plan, he merely relied on his intelligence to get him to the finish line. As long as the person he was trapped with wasn't physical, he had a good chance at winning.
"Hi," a voice came from the stranger across from him. It was small and unfortunately squeaky, much to Wilbur's surprise. The sound of a child's voice."

"Tommy must have noticed the flicker of pain that etched across Wilbur's face, as his smile softened into pity. His wings slightly stretched as he took a deep breath, sliding to the floor. "We'll be alright, okay?" He muttered. His words were quiet and soft, a contrast to his loud entrance.
Wilbur failed to believe it. If he couldn't make it out of the prison safely, Tommy certainly couldn't escape either. But who was he to crush Tommy's dreams? The blonde was the only type of hope he's gotten ever since he was thrown in this cell. All he could do was look out for him until the day they separated."

A large cross sat posted on his chest, hanging just above a gaping hole that left his entrails visible. Atop his head sat a brimmed, tall hat with a gold buckle that matched his shoes.
Katherine stared, but the man did not look at her. His line of sight was trained on Abaddon, fury in every wrinkle of his skin.
"Oh."
"Yes," Abaddon agreed, "Oh."
