Kazuha lifts a hand and cups his cheek, his touch gentle, assured. He says, “Drift with me,” softly.
“What?” Heizou says, mostly automatically. Kazuha’s hand is hot and he feels it with his whole body, nerves lighting up in his goddamn toes from his touch.
“Drift with me,” Kazuha repeats, sliding his palm up his cheek until his fingers are woven into Heizou’s hair. “Try again.”

In all of Heizou’s years as a detective, this is the first time he’s been distracted on a case.
For the past couple of months, Kazuha has been wandering Teyvat as normal. The only difference this time was that instead of patiently waiting for him to return, Heizou’s mind has been buzzing about one subject: marriage.
