Summary
The Craft twins are Slytherin’s poster boys. You’ve heard of them, surely:
Wilbur and Techno Craft. All sharp smiles and sharper eyes. Together, they become something else entirely - untouchable. Two sides of the same, dangerous coin. After all, you know what they say about twins.
When the youngest Craft brother finally arrives at Hogwarts, people are expecting him. Which brother is he going to take after? Wilbur? Techno? Both?
So of course, it comes as a shock when the answer turns out to be: neither at all.

Summary
“Do you regret it?” Wilbur asked quietly, thinking of the two boys in the world below them.
One who now cowers at the slightest of raised voices; who’s been left alone to pick up the remains of a broken family; and who can never readily trust anyone- at least, not anymore. And the other, who can’t stay in small spaces for long before hearing phantom fireworks; who cringes and recoils at the slightest scent of wine; and who’s been stuck, forced to carry the weight of a warring country on his shoulders.
A brief moment passed, as Schlatt didn’t respond. (Although, for all Wilbur knew, it could’ve been anything from seconds to hours: after all, time was a funny thing in the great beyond.) He fiddled with the sleeve of his sweater idly. But before Wilbur could take Schlatt’s silence as an answer within itself, he finally spoke.
“They were young,” Schlatt sighed, picking at the dried petunia pinned on his vest. Wilbur followed his gaze to the eternal sunset that had painted the purple fields a fiery gold. “We were greedy.”

The initial light was blinding. Tommy blinked rapidly, before sitting up in a hurry. What the hell…
He was on the banks of a smooth lake, in the middle of a forest clearing. The grass felt soft beneath his hands. Above him, somewhere hidden amongst the trees, a bird chirped. But something was off.
Tommy scrambled to get up. Correction: he attempted to get up, as he barely had a chance to look around before a foreign weight on his shoulders nearly made him tip over.

Pope just laughs, throws an arm around his shoulders. “Whatever you say, baby.”
Kie feels the butterflies in her stomach turn to dust.
“Just because I don’t drink your girly tea or what the fuck ever,” JJ starts, and Pope wrestles him into a headlock, noogies him affectionately.
“What do you have?” he says conversationally to Kie, who is staring at the two of them and every point of contact between them with steadily growing realisation.
