    Midoriya Izuku is finally going to get it all. He's met the Number One Hero, All Might, and now he's going to receive his quirk! He begins training with his mentor, and although he's finally working toward his dream, other aspects of his life start going downhill. He's being bullied at school, his mother is having financial problems, and then... the unthinkable happens.

    Bakugou Katsuki is only just beginning to figure himself out. After Deku saves him from the slime villain, he starts putting pieces together that he had never acknowledged before. Is it possible that at fifteen years old, there are still things about himself that he doesn't know yet? And why the hell is Deku acting so fucking weird?

    Alternatively: Izuku going through trauma before and after U.A., and Katsuki finding out that he's gay

    Injury assessment: several cracked ribs, possible internal damage, a dislocated shoulder, a completely broken hand, an even more broken ego. Katsuki can barely breathe at this point, and his heart is beating so fast that it can’t be healthy with his condition. He realizes with horror and a dropping stomach that he might actually die from this. He might actually get taken out, not by the hands of a monster or a villain, but by the hands of the person he loves most in his life.
    That’s somehow worse.

     

    Alternatively: Izuku is caught by a villain's mind-control quirk, so strong that not even One For All can break him away from it. The villain is desperate to run away, so to create a distraction, he gives Izuku only one order: that he should kill his partner and boyfriend Dynamight. It's up to Katsuki to face the consequences of that.

    Izuku has been in foster care for years already, and it's more than long enough that he has learnt how not to trust people, how to protect himself and be watchful, wary, exactly what his new family wants, until they get fed up with him anyway.

    He doesn't know how to trust Eraserhead and his husband, or even if he wants to trust them.

    But, equally, he doesn't know just how much they genuinely want him to be happy and safe; it's a realisation that will come with time and with showing Izuku, every single day in so many tiny ways, that Shouta and Naomasa are here for him, no matter what.

    ~

    Izuku is oh-so sure that this is a mistake, absolutely adamant, in fact, that something has gone wrong, because he doesn't deserve this.

    How could he? He's a Deku, a useless, freakish burden, and he will ruin anything and everything that he touches. He knows it.

    But Eraserhead and his husband apparently want him.

    Naomasa knows that Shouta is excited. There's no doubt about it. It might not be obvious to most people, but it is to him.

    The kid's had an absolutely shit lot in life, Naomasa and Shouta are simply hoping that they might be able to change that.
