“Yeah?” Knowing George had gone to bed not all that long ago, Dream looked over, searching his face for familiar tells of sleepwalking. “What’s up, George?”
As if reading his mind, George shook his head mildly. “I’m awake. I’m just…um…” He gestured vaguely to his wrist, which Dream realized with a start that George was cradling to his chest protectively. “Can you help?”

George shrugged. “As much as I normally do.”

“What could you possibly help me with anyways?” George switches the conversation in a desperate attempt to stop his cheeks from turning even redder.“Kissing.” Dream says, abruptly.
The students in the cafeteria still move around them the same, still carry on their conversations and laugh and yell at each other, and yet for a moment, George swears everything stops. For a few seconds, it’s as if everything has faded away into a blurry background and nothing else is important, and it’s just George and Dream staring at each other. Red blush snakes its way up George’s neck and his cheeks turn impossibly crimson.
George is pretty sure he’s going to explode.
He wonders at that moment if Sapnap had truly been right; that everyone knew that George has a crush on Dream, even Dream himself.
Dream asks George for help in chemistry, and in return, he promises to teach George how to kiss. It doesn’t go how either of them expects.
