After being around the fashion designer for two, three years, they had learned how he was. Perhaps, they also just enjoyed seeing him drugged up.

Ever since Shu had moved away to Paris, phone calls had become part of Mika’s routine. Their phone calls were often his favorite part of the day, even. Still, Shu had fixed rules about when they could call each other, to avoid disturbing the other's schedule.
As such, when Shu suddenly calls out of nowhere, it is glaring that something is wrong.Or, Mika gives a pep-talk to Shu over the phone and reassures him in the usual Valkyrie-absolutely-no-homo-way that he’s happy to be in Valkyrie with him.

Shu brought their hands up, his still caressing Mika’s, and pressed a soft kiss on the back of his hand, lips lingering for just a tad longer than they should have.
Mika squeezed it in shock, trying to keep his composure, but Shu knew he was anything but calm. Perhaps he should have done this later. But he just couldn’t help himself. He’d wanted to kiss him so badly. Still he’d already done too much in front of their audience; he shouldn’t push their luck.
They couldn’t get backstage quickly enough.

To watch someone focus on concepts never once considered, especially for wizards that live such long, boring lives? It is one of life’s more personally gratifying delights.

Мурр получил свой заряд азарта и не собирался возвращаться с пустыми руками, но и перенести все эти бутылки, покрытые едва заметным слоем пыли, было бы сильно шумно и подозрительно. Так что самое безобидное, что он мог сделать с выгодой для себя – сесть и поесть камней.
