At the battle of Wakanda, when Thanos had the Stones and all seemed lost, Earth was saved by mysterious, god-like beings from another world. They were seen as saviors. Now, a year later, the Asgardians have returned to Earth. This time, though, they come as conquerors.
Loki Odinson has tried all his life to live up to his father’s expectations, just like his older siblings. Odin has led Asgard on many conquests and he expects his children to follow in his footsteps. However, Loki is already on thin ice. Given the task of conquering Earth in the name of Asgard, he knows that if he fails this Odin won’t give him another chance to get back in his good graces. However, subjugating Earth has proved to be more of a challenge than anyone foresaw, and Loki is beginning to question whether he wants to continue on the path his father has set for him.

Summary
After the events of Loki: Where Mischief Lies, Loki spends the next forty years living on Earth with Theo. Until Theo dies, illness and old age eventually taking its toll. So Loki is left alone, grieving with a child on the way. To make matters worse, the child was born taking after his mortal father, aging much faster than a standard Asgardian should. Unsure what to do, Loki takes him back to Midgard, leaving him with the few people that might understand his natural born magic.
125 years later, Peter has wormed his way into the Avengers with the hope that through them, he can finally meet his father and ask the god a few question. If he ends up pranking a few of said Avengers along the way, well, no one can really blame him. He's still very much a kid, after all.
Or, Peter is Loki/Theo's kid (Who ages only 1 year for every 10) and has a little too much fun using magic to prank Avengers while searching for Loki.

After Loki's failed New York invasion he is returned to Asgard then sent out of the Nine Realms for punishment arranged by Odin. However when a Titan by the name of Thanos removes him before his time is served, Thor goes to the Avengers for help in tracking down Loki. What they finally find is not what they expected.
