“Alright, IcyHot. You’ve got a kid all of a sudden. You look like you haven’t slept in a week. You’re jumping at shadows. It’s time to fucking talk. Now.”
Shoto just stares, his mind trying and failing to process the scene. Poppy is safe. She’s with Katsuki. Which is…. somehow, a scenario his panicked brain accepts as safe.

Summary
A week after Jack left, he brought Castiel back from the Empty — whole, alive, and standing in front of Dean like nothing had changed, though everything had. Dean’s grateful. Of course he is. But now that Cas is here, really here, Dean is left face-to-face with everything unsaid between them. He knows what Cas confessed before dying, and worse — he knows damn well what he feels in return. But saying it out loud? That’s another story entirely, because there's something broken inside of him.
Dean asks Cas for something no one’s ever asked of him before: to go back in time, to the moment something broke, and stop it from happening. Stop the moment that taught Dean to be afraid of what he wanted most. Stop the moment Dean got broken.

"You don't understand," Dean whispers, exhaling shakily. "I know you don't, because even I don't. The instant you were gone, I wanted you back. Cas, I wanted you back. I wanted—I wanted—"
Cas stares at him, searching his face. After a moment, his own face falls slack, eyes widening just so. "Oh," he breathes out.
Dean wants to be furious that Cas has figured it out before he has—whatever it is—but he's not even that surprised. Cas knows him too well, always has, even more than Dean knows himself. He's been kicking Dean in the goddamn teeth with how deeply he understands him, even about the things Dean doesn't, ever since they first met. You don't think you deserve to be saved, that's what Cas had said. All bundled up in impossibilities and power, this being that looked at Dean Winchester and knew every single inch of him, as if he had a right to each part.
"What?" Dean grits out.
"I love you, too."

Summary
The child stares at him in fear, looking exactly like the villagers Techno faced off against only a few hours earlier. Same face, same expression; copy and paste. Same uneasiness in the shoulders, same base-level instincts running through their mind.
They look like they want to run away, eyeing his fangs with terror. Like he’s something to be feared.
Well, he’s not. He doesn’t even like the taste of human blood, and bird blood probably isn’t any better.
“Hullo.” Techno finally says, voice rough from disuse, waving a clawed hand in greeting.
Techno hears the way their breath hitches before they let out an ear piercing scream. Techno’s hands slap against his ears, wincing hard.
He guesses he’s not beating those vampire allegations anytime soon.
