Summary
For years, the public has asked for a “regular person” to compete alongside the elite athletes in the Olympics so that it becomes clear to the public just how hard these events are. This year, in the lead up to the next Summer Olympics, the Korean national team is doing a special event where they invite “regular people” to compete against them in a special exhibition. “Regular Guy” Taehyung auditioned, since he considers himself pretty darn fit, plus he loves watching pretty much all sports. He gets accepted to the exhibition, and is paired with Olympic saber fencer Jeon Jungkook. And if he gets a little bruised up from their saber match, then maybe Jungkook will have a way to make it up to him later.
