“I have an IDEA," suddenly says Hwoarang in a tone that doesn’t hold in store anything Jin can possibly welcome. The ideas that light like bulbs in Hwoarang's brain during their sparring sessions are always pretty extravagant, if not reckless.
Jin agrees to almost every one of them anyway. Apparently, this permissiveness doesn't just extend to Xiao (as hard as it is to admit, looking at the troublemaker's proud face).
The stomach does a somersault in anticipation of something horrifyingly stupid. This is definitely a trauma.

Summary
In the time that they have left, Lars steadily gets to know his allies. He learns about Alisa, who means more to him than anything. He learns about Jin, who is lonely and exhausted and so much younger than he seems. He even learns about Hwoarang, a stubborn remnant of Jin’s past who just might also be his future.
And then there’s Lee. Lars already knows that he’s a lost cause, but that doesn’t stop him from looking closer, anyway.

Bruce’s fingers still. His deep breath is warm against Minhkhoa's shoulder.
“I have to go back to Gotham,” he says, carefully.
Minhkhoa exhales just as carefully, trying not to tense. It will do him no good to start an argument right now.
