Red Hood jumped up. “The fuck are you doing here, Renegade?!”
Renegade raised her hands placatingly, “Woah there! I could ask you the same thing, man.”
“Isn’t it obvious? Luthor hired her to keep an eye on us. Deathstroke’s probably around somewhere as well.” Robin sneered.
“Robin, how fun! It’s a family reunion.” she joked, and didn’t miss both Robin and Batman stiffening slightly. If only they knew. “Is getting locked up together a regular thing for you guys? Like a family bonding activity or something?”

Deathstroke blinked. Why what? He wanted to say, but he knew what the kid meant. Why give up his kill? Well, Slade wasn’t looking to die, that’s one thing. And he was sure that he wasn’t going to win a fight with the kid. Besides, his job was to make sure that the target was dead. And if he wasn’t the one who killed him, well, his client didn’t have to know.
But one look at the boy made the words die in his throat. His partially covered face betrayed no emotion, but his stance told Slade that he was confused, curious, but somehow also scared of the answer.

Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
