Summary
Michael J. Caboose has always seen his world in color and fractals. His friends, through interacting with said soldier, soon see him through brand new lenses. It's just a shame that some things they see aren't too nice, but with Caboose, they quickly learn that all you need is your connections with people to survive the worst of situations.
After all, nobody could ever guess how much pain a person can experience and still come out smiling on the other end, until they tell you. And Caboose doesn't know when to shut the hell up.

Summary
Caboose is finally coming to grips with his crush on his teammate Church when he gets a new roommate-- inside of his head. He's not allowed to talk about O'Malley out loud or else his headaches get worse, and he starts daydreaming more and more, finding comfort in retreating into his memories. He's been more angry and forgetful lately, and he's sure that first one is O'Malley's fault.
O'Malley is in hiding, so he can't just start wrecking shit and killing people, as amazingly cathartic as that sounds. He'll have to settle for messing with the idiot he's hiding in. He's just "squatting here" after all, what's a little bit of brain damage while he waits for a better option to arrive?
