Summary
Possessed by a mixture of devastation, existing mental health issues, and desperate stress, Izuku makes a terrible mistake. He survived his suicide attempt, and he's genuinely glad for the second chance, but sometimes living is harder than letting go. As for what gave him the second chance... well, he's not entirely sure what to think of that either. With new hope and shattered world views, he continues down the path he originally chose, though this time without the wide-eyed wonder he once held for the world. He enters UA to become a hero, because if he can't believe in the ones he used to love, he can at least make himself into the hero he needs.

Summary
Following his service in the Paranormal Agents Corps of world war 1, Grantaire returns to New York as a broken shell of a man. With the help of Eponine and some other friends, he is able to become somewhat functional again and begin his work as a private detective in the Paranormal underground, but something is missing. Much to his annoyance, his life is turned upside-down when a plucky, naive police detective is assigned to the same serial kidnapping case, and the two must reckon with their differences while racing against time to save the lives of those taken.

Summary
After the death of Inko Midoriya and a fight with Katsuki, Izuku decides to end it all. Unfortunately for him (or fortunately) It All does not decide to end him. Instead, he spends three days hallucinating and staring into the gaping maw of hell and comes out of it a little...different. It's hard to be anxious when you've felt shadows try to rip out your spine on a Tuesday afternoon. Having embraced the absurdist nihilism of the universe, he decides, fuck it, he'll go to UA. Yeah, being a hero might kill him, but he's determined to have a good time before it does. What do you get when you mix an insane Izuku with Hatsume Mei, Shinsou Hitoshi, and class 1-A? A good goddamn time.

He manages to fast-track his education and graduates from med school a few years earlier than anticipated. After receiving a residency position at a hospital in New York he is convinced by a coworker to attend the local Shakespeare festival. The last thing he expected was to recognize Horatio.

Summary
When Midoriya Izuku finds an altar buried in the woods, he really should leave it alone. It’s old and it’s faded— the dark stones are weather-worn, pockmarks from the flow of water over time.
An abandoned altar meant gods who had been abandoned.
(And maybe, Izuku finds this too sad to ignore)
With soft fingers and keen eyes, Izuku begins to strip the rocks of dirt and mould. Even though it is evening and the shadows dip low— the altar is warm beneath his hands.
It feels like change.

Summary
In the summer of ‘89 Steve Harrington is the newest bartender at the surprisingly popular (and very gay) bar, The Poison Pear. Alongside Robin, Steve starts his first night on his own with confidence—until Eddie Munson shows up in tight leather, messy curls, smudged eyeliner, and a teasing grin. Turns out the metalhead not only plays with his band at the bar, but also works there on the busy weekends.
Steve quickly spirals into a bisexual crisis while working long, hectic nights with Eddie who becomes so much more than just a ‘save the world’ acquaintance and (pretty, intriguing, oh did he mention pretty?) coworker.
With shared trauma to heal from and uncharted desires between them, Steve falls fast and falls hard into Eddie’s open arms.

Eddie only smirks. “To your first night,” he says as he clinks their glasses together. Steve nods at that as they both down the shot, eyes locking as they wince past the burn in their throats. But Steve knows it’s more than the whiskey warming his chest.

He’s survived nineteen years of shitty parents, impossible expectations, and literal monsters, and somehow this has become the breaking point. He’s not smart, at least not in the same way that people like Dustin and Robin and Nancy are, and he’s not the one who usually figures things out, but he always manages to keep them safe.
Now, he can’t even say that anymore.
At least not until he wakes up on November 6th, 1983 and he realizes he has a chance to change everything... to save everyone.
