When Harry receives a letter from William 'Billy' Black asking the Lord of the Black House to help on a grave matter regarding a human and a vampire, Harry wastes no time, packs his bags, and investigates in the little town called Forks.
With his friends dead and almost nothing to keep him in England, he sets off to discover the truth about these 'Cold Ones' and how the poor muggle girl got involved with them.

Harry is curious. After writing a letter and trusting Hedwig to take it where it needed to go, a terrorist group has responded to him; one that has Harry diving into the lore of the wizarding world and the worlds beyond.Harry is lost. Navigating the wizarding world was hard enough; now emancipated, he's expected to embark on a new journey into politics without having any clue what he's doing.
Harry is scared, and while Hermione and Ron help, what Harry needs is someone on the edge- someone people won’t think twice about, who knew everything about their world. Theodore Nott seems to check all those boxes. Thus, Harry resigns himself to torturous lessons in etiquette, and languages, and politics, because if he's going to survive the incoming war and lead the life he wants, then he's going to have to play the game and play it goddamn well.

She was never expecting Orion Black to walk into her life though, not until Walburga Black unexpectedly dies and Sirius asks her to accompany him to the funeral. It's there they meet and life as they know it, will never be the same again. A Black always gets what they want. Hari has no idea what life is in front of her.
