All too soon, the final model stepped out. The outfit was probably incredible, the crowd’s reaction indicating as much. But all Nick could focus on was the model himself.
He was tall, seemingly close to Nick’s height, but where Nick was rounded muscle and soft angles, this man was lithe lines and sharp edges. Nick thought of an elf or a pixie, something so close to human but just more. His dark curls were styled to bounce as he walked, threatening to fall into his blue-grey eyes. There was a grace to him; he almost glided down the runway, his feet seeming to coast along the floor with an ethereal ease.
Or, Nick was a rugby player, Charlie was a model, can I make it anymore obvious?

Sahar, Charlie, and Tao entered the rehearsal space while Nick was in conversation with his lighting designer so they had already begun setting up by the time Nick was able to greet them. He wrapped Sahar in a massive hug, his nerves subsiding a bit knowing he had one of his best friends with him. When he turned to face his new drummer and keys player, everything seemed to blur.
One of them was tall and lanky, dark hair poking out of a red beanie. And next to him, was the most gorgeous person Nick had ever seen. He was lanky in a way that looked lithe and graceful with a mess of dark curls, shining blue eyes, and the barest hint of stubble gracing his perfect jawline.
Or, Nick is kind of a rockstar and kind of in love with his drummer.

Nick grabbed the wig from Charlie’s hand and tossed it behind him. “Can I kiss you?”
Charlie’s eyes widened. “Now?”
“I’d rather not get a bunch of synthetic beard in my mouth, so... yes?”
In answer, Charlie kicked the bedroom door closed with the heel of his black leather boot. He grabbed Nick’s frilly white scarf and yanked their faces together.
