Sunghoon was just about to fall back asleep, even despite the fact that he could just barely start to feel his rut begin to simmer, his fingers still idly playing when his nail caught on the edge of the scent patch, pulling it back hardly a centimeter before Sunghoon realized what he had done, blinked back to life and quickly smoothed it back on.
But it was too late. Sunoo’s contented and sleepy omega scent had just barely hit his nose before he was abruptly sitting up, covering his face with his hand as he forced himself to hold his breath so he wouldn’t take it in.
But still he could feel his rut flare deep in his stomach, responding to Sunoo’s peach blossoms like a siren’s song. He forced himself to inch backwards, breathing only out of his mouth so he wouldn’t lose control, pulling his scent back until he made himself nauseous from the strength it took.

Sunoo never gave much thought to his secondary gender. Modern day society has no place for archaic biological stereotypes- the socially acceptable thing to do is start suppressants as soon as you present, so that’s exactly what he does. He goes about his daily life forgetting his inner omega is there at all, just like the rest of the world.
However, when filming goes rouge in a bad storm, the group is suddenly forced to learn more about their secondary genders than they ever thought was possible- like the fact that Jake’s omega gets territorial about where he puts his sleeping bag, or that Sunghoon’s beta gets nervous when the whole pack isn’t home before dark, or that Jungwon’s alpha can’t sleep unless everyone else has dozed off.
Or that Riki’s alpha likes Sunoo’s omega.
A lot.

If people wanted to believe in some star-crossed romance between a hockey player and a K-pop idol, why not? Even with a couple drags already in his system, it’s hard for him to stop thinking about how Sunoo’s thighs look so incredibly soft and smooth, even under the dim light coming overheard from the rearview mirror. His pleated skirt ends perfectly mid-thigh and in his sick mind, it would be so easy for him to slip his hand in between them right there, to feel, and to see, if what he imagines in the late night is true.
It doesn’t help either that Sunoo is wearing one of his own sweatshirts, the one that’s brown and oversized, the one that’s disappeared from his wardrobe so long ago that it’s not even a concern for him anymore because his best friend looks absolutely stunning in it anyway, practically swimming in its long sleeves. He’s always been fascinated by how much smaller Sunoo is.
“Hey.”
Sunghoon drags his eyes away from Sunoo’s thighs when Sunoo moves in closer to him from his seat. He waits, blinking slowly as the high starts to hit him.
“Secondhand that to me?”
