Summary
Seoho recalls how it felt to be triggered into a rut through no fault or prompting of his own. Without any type of release or comfort, the rut lasted twice as long as usual, and Geonhak had been gone the entire time, visiting his family, so Seoho had to endure it alone.
He can make sure Geonhak doesn’t have to go through the same thing.--
Seoho's been in love with his best friend and roommate for years. He'd do anything for him. But the morning after Geonhak's rut tastes a lot like regret.

Geonhak’s hand starts slowly, stroking through Seoho’s hair. He feels the light press of lips to the crown of his head as the hand wanders downward, tickling the hairs on the back of his neck, brushing over his shirt and skimming the sharp angles of his shoulder blades, finally stopping with a heavy palm resting on his hips. It burns like hot coals on his skin where his shirt has ridden up.
“Keep going?” Geonhak whispers into Seoho’s hair. Breath hot, so hot against his skin.
Seoho catches his bottom lip between his teeth before his mouth can beg for it.
